Women’s History Month belongs to everyone, everywhere. Follow our ‘Women Making History Today’ campaign all month as we showcase the strides women are making NOW and the women to look out for in 2024.

 

Taylor Swift is truly in her “power era.” The pop superstar was named by #forbes as the fifth-most powerful woman in the world, citing her economic, cultural and political clout, and outranking other popular musicians on the list. She’s building a ‘reputation’ and establishing herself in the ‘Women Making History Today’ club.

As Beyoncé so beautifully says it, ‘Who Run the World (Girls)! Women’s influence on #purchasingpower is undeniable from the boardroom to the living room. By 2028, women across the globe are projected to own 75% of discretionary spending. This isn’t just about women participating in the #decisionmaking process; they often are the decision-making unit.

In these history-making appointments, Michele Bullock & Hafize Ekran became the first women ever to lead their country’s central banks. It was only in 1975 that the First Women’s Bank opened in New York City to cater to women customers and help foster equal opportunities for women in banking. We’ve come a long way since 1975, but we certainly have a long way to go!

After 33 years with Ernst & Young, Janet Truncale is set to make history as the first woman to lead one of the big four firms. From intern to CEO, her journey is not just about breaking barriers but reshaping corporate culture and inspiring change globally.

Mexico’s elections on June 2nd 2024 will go down in history. Never before have there been so many voters on the electoral roll or so many posts up for grabs. And it is almost certain that the top job will go to a woman for the first time. Women Making History Today!

And the Academy goes to….. While #Barbie didn’t receive the Best Film award at the Oscars, it was nominated and recognized as a movie that celebrates breaking gender norms-— a world in which everyone is “Kenough.”

#Socialmedia influencers have become incredibly popular in the last couple of years, and people have started looking up to them. Across categories such as fashion, tech, travel, food, or even parenting, they help people learn about the latest trends. They are also in a position to help people buy useful and effective products by posting authentic reviews and making smart choices. Moreover, influencers also support brands’ and small businesses’ grow by reaching out to a large audience.
